Background: Alwyn was born the daughter of a great inventor, had a respect for the rook technology since then. She discovered at a young age the possibility of legendary powers her father spoke of to her, the stories were a daily routine for then to bond over. She lost her father years ago but vowed to continue the work to discover and harness the rook stone power, her drive is strong to find the legendary powerful rook stones her father had sought for his lifetime. She respects the rooks, she knows with care she can master the power they hold within. She is adventurous, does not always want to stay put in a laboratory to be stagnate, she does need to spend time focusing on the possibility of creating a helm worthy or her village. No followers, she is a loner by her own choice, she has a small bit of confidence is finding her way through tough things. Alwyn is very curious and driven to find out what makes the rooks what they are and also the possibility of finding the legendary rook stones!

As Alwyn makes her way through the jungle landscape here in the Rafters she notices lots of bright, vibrant plant life, an adjustment to the climate as well but she presses forward through the thick brush. A small clearing appears ahead, first thing she notices are the long wings of a swift gargoyle, next to this creature is a man in dark purple robes. He seems to be growling towards the gargoyle, not looking very friendly she feels the gargoyle might come to harm so she approaches quietly, not noticed she does see that the cultist might harm the creature. She acts swiftly to draw the attention away from the gargoyle and in one fell swoop manages to catch the cultist off guard, clocking him across the head with her quarterstaff and knocking him out cold. The gargoyle seems to look over, smile and leave quickly as it is now not being forced to stay close to this cultist, she finds a brooch on the cultist that seems to have a swirling center gem so she snags it then notices a small latch that opens the side of the brooch up and a winged key is there. This could mean something or go to a place she might need to explore, she continues past the clearing and moves forward.
Alwyn starts to traverse into the Colostle bright and early in the morning, she sees a large field then some hill formations in the near distance. As she approaches the hillside she notices a small campsite, next to it is a little camp fire with a smaller older gentleman pacing around the camp. She approaches with caution, his eyes light up as she comes closer, he is happy that she has come about this way. He tells her he needs to find a small rook and he would like to have it as a pet, his demeanor seems off to her, she questions his intent and he seems to get very defensive so she tells him that she is on a specific trip and can check back when she returns. Reluctantly this man decides to let her go but hopes she would have responded more in his favor, his intent does not ring true to her senses as she is pretty in tune with the workings of rooks. As she moves away cautiously from the camp the hillside suddenly gets steeper and mixed into the stones sits a runed massive doorway, the temperature drops quite a bit the closer to this door she gets, chances are this could be a doorway to the Tundroom, ice wastelands that are much colder than the lands she is familiar with. This door however is locked, she has not real way to open it but she decides top mark this down on the map in case she decides to wander back this way in the future, so many things to explore and possibly a good chance for an ice rook in there, but dangerous so for now stay away.
Day 2:
After a restful and uneventful night at her camp she makes it out early to continue exploring off the hillside area, she sees a valley with many things high above it like cliff sides. It is a small settlement, occasionally there are creatures flying above and bringing people up to the cliffs, those are the Rafters! Gargoyles provide transport to the Rafters so she could explore up high to see if unique things are out there and hoping to find a legendary rook stone however no one has ever documented rook activity in the Rafters. She will still see if they might have some unique items or finds up there if she can get a ride or find a stairway up there. This small village is fairly active, many of the old large rooks have lots of growth on the outside made of various vines and ivy's. Suddenly there are a series of large booms and the sky lights up with colors, it seems they have a merchant who is lighting off incendiary items, hoping it is for fun she goes to investigate top find it’s a demonstration from a local merchant who makes these items specifically. The merchant named Buzz Bramble, a portly older gentleman has come up with a way to assist people not wanting the Gargoyles to lift them to the Rafters. As she wanders around to look for options a fairly good size Gargoyle swoops down to pick her up however she was not ready for this and she slips a little and loses some of the rations she kept in her bag, she will have to replace these as soon as she can, you never know when you might need rations, many times you can not resupply.

Day 3: Rafters
As Alwyn makes her way through the jungled landscape here in the Rafters she notices lots of bright, vibrant plant life, an adjustment to the climate as well but she presses forward through the thick brush.
Day 4:
After some decent rest under a cool waterfall Alwyn makes her way across a flatter spot with shorter trees and some hills, the day is warm but a decent breeze helps her stay cooler. She sees the looming gargoyle, a gnarled one coming towards her, thankfully she manages to dart down to some tree cover and the beast swoops down but misses her completely then glides away knowing she noticed it coming over her way. She looks up after making sure she was all clear from the beast to see a large sack hanging at a sloped angle off this tree, she gathers the sack and a fairly heavy piece of something is inside, a large clockwork timepiece, almost like a walking alarm clock. This really fascinates her because it is a very unique piece, she is unsure but maybe this is created or used by the gargoyles in their nests which she would love to find one and see if she can grasp what the mysteries are for the majestic beasts. Now she really needs to stay vigilant to find some more clues and then figure a way back to the Colostle area.
Day 5:
After another restful night in her camp Alwyn makes her way towards a section of the Rafters that seems to slope more upwards, more larger hillsides, a warm breeze comes across here with a little more clearing then other parts as she climbs a little higher. As she looks around she notices out of the corner of her eye a wing tip from the low lying cloud cover, a gargoyle called a swift gargoyle makes it way towards her position, they are much like little dragons however this one misses it's mark as she dodges and rolls for cover by a nearby tree. Catching her breath she makes her way past the tree line area to a short cliff side where she spots a large nest of sorts, this could be the gargoyles nest area she has heard about, she carefully makes her way over to it and realizes that this day might not be the best to explore the nest. Next to one of the lower trees she spots an interesting site, a wooded structure that has large cloth wings, with a closer inspecting she sees it is a glider of sorts and thinks this might be the quickest way out of the area before she is spotted and climbs into the glider. As she catches the warm afternoon breeze the glider almost instinctively accelerates forward, she holds on as she navigates back towards where she came from with gargoyles occasionally darting past her with the lower sections visible now she makes her way back down towards a clearing in the Colostle. She sets camp for the night with a little release of emotion after that wild ride, she now can explore more of the Colostle to find rook stones with legendary powers, at least she hopes to.
Day 6:
Back into the thick of the Colostle forests and hills Alwyn starts to make her way through looking for the clues or areas for the rook stones, after traveling the morning she rests to eat. As she makes her way deeper into the brush land she notices a larger stone covered area, next to the stones she then witnesses not just one but two massive rooks! Not a very common site, she panics a moment thinking this could be a rough battle however not a fight she wants so she attempts to make her way down a side path when one of the rooks does notice her. The other rook seemed to be hiding something from her as the rook who saw her now wants to put some distance between her and the rooks which seems odd, why would they flee? What are they hiding? As the ground shakes she realizes they are rumble magic rooks and they vibrate at amazing speed to dig underground to disappear in the sets of stones all around the area. Alwyn makes her way over to the spot where it seems something was being hidden however the ground was dug up and she could not get the soil off the area to investigate so she decides to abandon this spot in case those rooks change their mind. After a little more travel she decides to camp under a large tree for some cover for the night.
Day 7:
This day starts quiet, very clear and warm in the air as she makes her way through some of the plains with rolling hills. As the day moves along Alwyn notices more activity, many smaller critters but also some good size beasts that could help her replenish the rations she lost in the Rafters journey, she slowly makes her way to some bushes to hide to strike in a stealthy fashion. Luckily one of the medium pig beasts with 6 legs does not notice her, she strikes with good force using the quarterstaff with a small flash of electricity off the end when she does hit the beast, now she has some food that she can cook and save for her longer trip ahead, she sits by the fire and packs the meat away for later. Once it gets closer to nightfall she is startled by a person who seemed to be sneaking up on her, when she notices him a black robed figure with a bow is looking to shoot her, "I want your treasures little one!" he exclaims and shoots the arrow but Alwyn quickly deflects the arrow with the end of the staff, maybe it is the adrenaline with a rush of energy she moves quickly towards him and strikes him clear across the nose knocking him out on the ground. She notices a ring on his finger with an symbol embedded on it of an arrow head with a lightning bolt as the shaft , maybe it means something or a clan symbol possibly? She decides to take this so that maybe she can identify or in the future figure out who they are and what they want, she ties the man up and will notify any watch in a nearby village if she can find one, for now he will not harm another. She sets camp an hour or so away from the location where the man attacked, she feels safe for now.
